Getting the Most out of Multiply

MessageHow do I add a Hit Counter to my pageMay 7, '08 11:42 AM
by Dave for everyone
At one time I was able to add a hit counter to my welcome message to track how many visits my pages were receiving. Now I am unable to do so, when I add the code I am told by a popup that Javascripts are not allowed.

I understand there is a counter at the bottom of every page, but they only show me visits by registered users of Multiply. However, I have a "Fanbase" (if you will) of individuals who are not Multiply users who still visit my page, and I would like to see how many of them visit me.

How do I do this?

use the html version of a hit counter
if you do a search for them you will find many

I use one from here on my page (I have it in my right rail) but the principle is the same - it's a html one http://www.easycounter.com/
There are many others out there

go to my page dave, and look at my groups. there is one in there called multiply for dummies... its where i go when i have questions that need to be answered. Perhaps it is in there. if not go to one of my contacts - yugolady and look at her groups...she has other multiply groups in there that may help you.

Good luck

Mike
