Blessings.
I am ASCJ or Poe (as most of you may know me). For those of you who don't, I'm Poe *lol* I am a theme author (check out my site
here), but I have come to present to you "Poe's Favorite Themes." Now, what is that? you may be asking yourself.
WHAT IS "POE'S FAVORITE THEMES?""Poe's Favorite Themes" is
not a group, although at times, it may feel like one. The purpose of the site is to show the hard-working theme authors here at Multiply how much I appreciate their hard work, time and dedication to creating themes for the average MP'er (Multiply user). They have created such unique and inspiring themes for us to use, and they deserve some recognition, right? So, I've put together a small (at this moment) amount of themes from different theme authors to showcase. Now, it's not necessarily a place to retrieve others' themes without having to check out their pages, so the rules that apply at most Multiply-themed groups apply there as well. This is just a site, basically, to showcase the many talents here at MP.
THIS SOUNDS INTERESTING. WHAT DO I DO?Now, some of you have received PMs and some of you haven't. No worries, 'k? I'm getting around to it. In case I never get to you, though, you could always
contribute on your own without me having to ask you. You can take my word for it: If you are a theme author,
I want you! You don't have to wait for me to ask. I figured I'd try it this way because I didn't want anyone feeling as if I didn't like his or her themes because I hadn't asked.
Does this sound interesting yet? If not, I'm not sure what will convince you. I'm currently working on an evil plot to overtake the world, but in the meantime, this'll have to do *lol* Seriously, if you are a theme author and you'd like to contribute, please click
HERE first. Because this is
not an MP group, you cannot upload your own creations. You can, however, pinpoint where I can find the CSS codes for them so that I can upload them to the site.
DO I HAVE TO PARTICIPATE?Oh, and in case you were wondering, if you are a theme author, you
don't have to participate. While I think it would benefit you 100% to do so (i.e., people that normally don't visit your site will now have a reason to, you can be added to Poe's Wall of Fame, etc.), you don't have to. You are under no obligation to showcase anything. Perhaps you think they're better showcased on your own site. That's quite fine, too. I won't stop speaking with you or all of a sudden hate you because you refuse to participate. Ask anyone and they'll say, "Poe loves everyone!" (with the exception of people who don't follow the rules, that is *lol* but I even love them, too!)
WHAT ABOUT THOSE OF US WHO AREN'T THEME AUTHORS?So, what if I'm not a theme author? Do I have a say so in anything? Of course you do! I want to make this the best experience possible on MP when it comes to sharing and showcasing themes, so here's where
YOU come in! I have, so far, come up with a
3-question survey that would help me with fulfilling the purpose. It won't even take you 5 minutes to fill it out, honestly. And maybe, later on in the near future, you can also vote for the theme to not only be showcased, but to be used at Poe's Favorite Themes! Sounds a little fun, right? C'mon, you know you want to do this *tehehe* I hope!
PLEASE PARTICIPATE!Nonetheless, there's my shameless plug for Poe's Favorite Themes. Again,
you don't have to participate, but I would really appreciate it if you did.
